Campaign Summary

On October 12, 2012, during a live event with the world watching, a stock Toyota Tundra towed the 300,000lb Space Shuttle Endeavour into history. After years of silence since the 2007 Tundra launch, true truckers had begun to doubt Toyota’s full-size pick up capability and when the chance to tow the Space Shuttle Endeavour emerged, we knew this was Tundra’s chance to step up to the challenge and help deliver the American icon to its new home at the California Science Center. The campaign reestablished Tundra’s full-sized pick up capability, put Tundra right back into the full-size pickup conversation, and delivered one of the most talked about and memorable campaigns in Toyota history.
