      Ghada Azzi is the managing editor of ArabAd, the business and communication magazine catering to the MENA region since 1986. With her background in journalism and PR, Ghada oversees all editorial content and the management of the publication. Beside her wide range of creative interests, she is passionate about storytelling, technology, and the future of digital marketing and stays current with all the latest trends in social media and online marketing.
      Ghada holds a Masters degree in political sciences from USJ Lebanon in addition to a
      journalism diploma from CFJ France.
     

    Orkun Demirelli - Founder, FIRMA, Turkey

    • Orkun Demirelli was born in Ankara, Turkey in 1970.
      He graduated from Bilkent University, Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture.
      He started his career as an art director in Ajans Ultra in 1996.
      He took a break from his professional life and went to London to study communication design in London Central Saint Martins College of Art and Camberwell College of Arts.
      After returning to Turkey, he continued his career in Ajans Ultra.
      In 2001 he started to work at Rafineri and became the creative director of the agency in 2004.
      After working as the creative director at Rafineri for 10 years he started his own agency FIRMA.
      At the same time he has become the creative director of Dukkan Publishing and Creative Agency.
      During his career path he had won various design and advertising awards.

      Moe Jawhar is the executive creative director and head of creatives at Serviceplan Middle East, the Dubai-based MENA, hub of the largest and most diversified owner-managed agency group in Europe known as the Serviceplan Gruppe. As creative head, Moe steers the innovation, content, and creative excellence for Serviceplan in the region. As executive creative director, Moe provides strategic and creative insights to other Serviceplan agencies located elsewhere in the world, especially for global clients under the group's international arm, Serviceplan International.
      Originally from Beirut, Moe's creative inclinations were shaped by his 13 years of agency experience in Dubai. Moe, who describes himself as forever passionate and full of hope—but never full of himself—has an accounting degree in his back pocket on top of primary degrees in graphic design and web mastering. He has since evolved from a Webmaster, to an Art Director and Designer, into a team leader who inspires and brings out the creative genius in each of his team members. He is motivated by simplicity of thought in creative ideation and conceptualization, but is driven by a great deal of passion and devotion when it comes to the actual craft poured into an idea.
      His regional insights and competence spans 13 markets in the Middle East and North African region, while his international exposure continues to be honed by being part of - and by working closely with - an elite team of multi-awarded Executive Creative Directors from Serviceplan offices in Munich, Hamburg, Berlin, Milan, Vienna, Zurich, and Brussels, as well as Serviceplan International offices in Moscow, Delhi, Beijing, and Seoul. His work and creative influence are evident in regional work he has done and spearheaded for brands like BMW, MINI, Rolls Royce, Lufthansa, and Huwaei, among others.

      Nayaab is an associate creative director at FP7/DXB, part of McCann Worldgroup, and has an overall industry experience of almost 10 years spanning the Middle East region and Africa, Europe, Asia-Pacific and India. She has helped bag clients across industries and worked on bigwigs like Coca-Cola, Pepsi Co, Unilever (Lipton International, Knorr, Dove), Johnson & Johnson, Wrigleys, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Fonterra, Persil and Clorox.
      Nayaab has previously worked with creative powerhouses like DDB where she and her partner won the agency its first Cannes Lion. Coming from the land of cricket (India), she tried for a hat-trick at Cannes as well, and went on to collect 3 more Cannes trophies in the following years at BBDO and FP7.
      Other than Cannes, she has also won accolades at Dubai Lynx, WARC, Midas, Spikes Asia, AdStars Asia and picked up multiple Golds and the Grand Prix at the Effies.
      While winning awards is every advertising person´s favourite hobby, Nayaab also enjoys playing music, writing screenplays, buying every single book available on Amazon.com and trying on funny props for no real reason whatsoever.

      Sasan is the managing director of FP7 McCann-UAE Group, overseeing FP7 DXB & Momentum operations.
      FP7 UAE is the HQ of the region, boasting a multitude of global and local super brands as its clientele. He oversees 135 communication professionals and growing, working across a multitude of disciplines and channels.
      Under his leadership FP7 DXB has invested a lot of energy and passion behind creating "Work that matters” beyond anything else. Believing in Creativity with purpose. And so with this vision in mind, FP7 DXB has won the coveted Effie’s “Agency of the Year” for three consecutive years 2013, 2014 and 2015.       After graduating as a fine artist with a Gold Medal, Prashant Sankhé started his career as an illustrator in Mumbai. Enthralled by the power of the idea that lay within the strokes and shades, he soon moved closer to advertising. Half a dozen assignments and 19 years later, he serves as the executive creative director of Percept Gulf, Dubai. Apart from nurturing and empowering Creative teams, his passion lies in print advertising, TV, and identity creation, which has won him several recognitions, awards, and accolades.

      From several food and beauty brands to banking, automobile and tourism, Prashant's experience is wide and varied. His portfolio includes several local and international clients such as Mazda (UAE and Oman), Nando's, Peugeot, Citizen, Carter's, Nissan, and Ikea (Kuwait).

      Prior to Percept, Prashant was heading the creative at M&C Saatchi, where he shaped the communication for Dubai Tourism, Dubai Duty Free, LG, Sony, Samsung, Canon, Chevrolet, and Siemens, etc. With over a decade spent in various GCC markets, Prashant also gives occasional lectures on advertising in the region on art direction and design.

      Opposite of many creatives, Erhan started advertising from the marketing side. In 2002 he was selected as a student brand manager for Redbull. During his presence, he involved numerous projects and help create the world’s first 24-hour endurance go cart race in Turkey. After 1 fabulous year at Redbull, he decided to experience the agency side and dive into advertising as a copywriter.
      Luckily in the following years, he found a chance to meet and work with the world’s best digital talents at the world’s top-rank agencies. His route includes Miami, Stockholm, Riga and Istanbul as a digital creative.
      Besides global brands such as Diesel, Starbucks, Audi, Smirnoff and Johnson's Baby he had a chance to develop traditional and social marketing solutions over 50 brands in last 10 years.
      Today Erhan serves as a lecturer at the world’s most awarded advertising school, Miami Ad School Istanbul. He is also creative director at Bang&Bond and a mindfulness trainer at Mindful Academy.

      Born in Liberia, raised in Lebanon, and having lived in different countries while growing up, Josephine always felt that she was a third-culture kid. Until she started working in advertising in 2005 and found out that creativity has no cultural boundaries.
      Now she is an associate creative director at FP7 Dubai, part of McCann group. She joined FP7 after working with DDB Lebanon, Jordan, Dubai and BBDO Dubai.
      She has worked on a variety of accounts including Pepsi Co, Coca-Cola, Unilever (Lipton International, Knorr, Dove), Johnson & Johnson, Wrigleys, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen, Fonterra, Persil and Clorox.
      Her creative has been recognized by Cannes, Dubai Lynx, WARC, MIDAS, Spikes Asia, AdStars Asia and recently her work picked up multiple golds and the Grand Prix at the Effies MENA Awards.
      When not creating ads, Josephine can be found trying out new restaurants across town.
